With many of its solutions designed in partnership with some of the world’s leading vehicle OEMs, Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division will use its stand at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo (ACT Expo) in Las Vegas to showcase its development of on-highway components and sub-systems, and promote its expanding eMobility Solutions portfolio for vehicle electrification.
For the first time at an on-highway-focused exhibition, Curtiss-Wright will be showing its all-new CWTI-D840 traction inverter, which boasts an impressive output up to 840kW and is tailor-made for dual-motor, Class 8 commercial and industrial vehicle electrification applications. The company will also be continuing to promote its eMobility Solutions portfolio including its latest generation of custom power distribution modules (PDMs).
Curtiss-Wright is also showcasing its CAN Actuator, a drive-by-wire alternative to the typical push/pull cable mechanical shifter that rotates the shift shaft for a variety of on-highway vehicle transmissions.
Also on the stand is the Global Strip Switch, a CAN capable shifter suitable for applications requiring high reliability, vibration/shock resistance and EMC protection; and CAN Pushbutton Shift Selector, which uses proven technology combined with a universal CAN-capable electronic shift selector that can be custom programmed to meet application-specific needs.
